  BOX NET

  The BOX-NET DNC system is a multi-tasking on-line Dos NC Program Management System designed for machine shop use.
The main objective of the system is to transfer NC programs and other production information from one PC to up to 16 NC machines simultaneously.
In addition, NC programs can be written and edited with the BOX-EDI NC Editor at the same time with data transfer.
The system, which has proven to be both reliable and user-friendly, has been on the market since 1988 and has currently thousands of users worldwide.

BOX-NET raises productivity by increasing machining capacity which results in increased production efficiency.
Furthermore, it integrates CAD/CAM systems into the shop floor environment thus increasing data transfer reliability and improving product quality.

FEATURES

    Program distribution
    NC programs can be sent from your CAM workstation to the BOX-NET PC through the network or the serial line at any time.

    Program storage
    BOX-NET keeps a storage of NC programs of all machine tools in the BOX-NET PC or the network server.

    Program editing
    The BOX-EDI NC Editor enables last minute modifications to NC program with no restriction to the file size. BOX-EDI can be used simultaneously with the data transfer.

    Program transfer
    The CNC machine operators can call the needed NC programs directly from the controls of their machine tool at any time without needing to go to the PC. All NC programs modified on the machine tool can be downloaded quickly and easily to the BOX-NET PC.

    Report
    BOX-NET keeps a history log on the data transferred and the time the machine tools were run. This information is available to the production control system of the factory.

    Unlimited NC program size
    BOX-NET has no limitations to the NC program size. BOX-NET achieves the highest levels of productivity when storing, editing and transferring large programs.
