We're very proud of our new PC-DNC Editor for Windows.
It contains perhaps the most sophisticated file compare algorithm of any available G-code editor. We don't just detect altered lines of code... We detect inserted, deleted, and altered lines, and also detect the inserted, deleted, and altered characters within each altered line. Our new File/Convert function lets you perform programmable "mass edits", so you can quickly convert files from one type of CNC to another. |

PC-DNC Editor for Windows (Multi-port DNC version) |

While the basic version of PC-DNC Editor can upload, download and run DNC via any Windows serial port, we also have a more full-featured version with "Multi-Port DNC" capability. The Multi-Port DNC option lets you run in "drip-feed" mode through several serial ports simultaneously. This option also lets you easily cycle start from the middle of a file, and performs "on the fly" sub-file merging using "CALL" statements within your program. A parallel BTR output function lets you connect older Fanuc and Yasnac CNCs to your PCs parallel printer port. This is the hot setup for cutting 3-D surfaces on almost any CNC mill or machining center.
The Multi-port DNC option lets you open multiple DNC windows, each transmitting to its own serial port. These windows each operate within its own thread, permitting you to edit files or run other applications without interferring with the DNC operation. Each window can be individually controlled, permitting mid-file startup, resetting, scanning.
Standard versions of the editor can be upgraded to multi-port operation at any time.
